If someone asked me how I create my assemblage jewelry, I would say, “It’s part intuition, and part love”. My designs come from a gut feeling and a desire. I’ve been collecting jewelry and elements since I was a little girl, literally for decades. My love of these objects inspires me to let my intuition free itself, and see what transpires into tangible, collectible pieces. In the “Queen Of The Sky” necklace, I selected the most gorgeous, swimming pool blue, rosary beads as my inspiration. I am very particular with color, with finishes, with how some thing feels, and looks, I even love the noise my jewelry makes. Well, these beautiful blues spoke to me and I realized I wanted to put a tarnished rhinestone crown and a very distressed Bumblebee puffed heart. The simplicity, the delicacy, the decadence… It’s all there. Adjusts from approximately 17 to 22 inches long. We show this beautiful piece layered with one of my long layering favorites.
